Indian team is coming from home loss to a strong Omani side losing 1-2 at Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru. Indian team which had four debutants in their side, should feel confident about the performance despite the close loss after it received praise from the even the opponents. With the next opponent Guam who many considered to be the weakest team in the group, Indian team would surely be looking for three points.

That being said, it would be wrong if Indian team under-estimates the Guam side, especially after they defeated Turkmenistan in their first home World cup Qualifier. Guam side would be confident of facing India after achieving such a good result against Turkmenistan, while India would look to match the 4-0 scoreline they achieved when the two teams met last time around.

As for the line-ups, Guam shall be keeping mostly same line up which defeated Turks while Indian team might me bringing some changes in wings which were struggling to match the Omani attacks from the width.

The Indian gaffer Constantine had his concern on Guam's advantage as he mentioned, “They have several of their Players playing in the US with a couple playing in the USA. Obviously they have the edge of having two home back to back Home games and they are going to maximize it as much as possible as everyone would”.

And his counterpart White looked excited about the tie facing the new look side of Constantine, as he reveals,  “I think India are an organized side. They have got a new group of young players. This only goes to show the work Stephen has undertaken as he is planning and building a team for the future. Success is not achieved overnight and patience is very much needed. The future is bright for India with so much potential out there. Indian football is heading in the right direction under Stephen”.

With both teams having their reason to be positive to go for all and establish their place as high as possible at initial stage, the match is expected to be  an enticing affair at the Guam national football stadium, where the game kicks-off at 11.45 AM IST(4:30 Local Time at Guam).
