East Bengal appoint Biswajit Bhattacharya
as Head Coach |
Following a below par season where Eelco Schattorie could not guide the Red and Golds team to much success, East Bengal have appointed Biswajit Bhattacharya as Head Coach for the upcoming season. The two times Mohun Bagan coach and former East Bengal player himself, Biswajit was the coach of 2nd Division side George Telegraph last season. Biswajit also had coaching stint with Kerala based Viva Kerala.
East Bengal have already signed Bello Rasaq from their arch rivals Mohun Bagan, the i-League 2015 champions and were also reported to be interested in signing Sanjoy Sen. The Red and Golds have also renewed their star striker, Ranti Martin's contract.
