Bengaluru FC were handed a home defeat at the hands of Indonesian Champions Persipura Jayapura at the Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore today. Bengaluru FC lost 3-1 with Udanta Singh opening the scoring for the Blues whereas goals from R. Pugliara(29th minute), Imanuel Wanggai(73rd minute) and R. Sanadi(77th Minute) ensured the victory for the travelling Indonesian side.
Thus Bengaluru FC finish the group E as runners up while Persipura top the group.

EB: Ranti Martins(80th), Cavin Lobo(89th)
East Bengal came back from being two goals down to end the match in a 2-2 draw after two late goals from Ranti Martins and Cavin Lobo gave the Red and Golds something to cheer about in an otherwise a really poor performance in the prestigious continental tournament.
