India have been draw to play against neighbours Nepal in the preliminary Joint Qualification Round 1 for the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. The matches will be played in home and away basis with India hosting the first of the two on 12th March 2015 while the second match will be on 17th March 2015.

The World Cup qualification match will mark the second debut of Stephen Constantine, who got his second stint to coach the Indian Senior National Football Team.

Stephen Constantine was quoted saying to the official AIFF website,"It will be a very difficult game for us. Nepal are a good side. I think both Teams have respect for each other it won’t be easy."

"I am looking forward to going back to Nepal. It has been a long time since I have been in the Himalayan Kingdom. But this time, it will be for pure business," Constantine further added.
