Syed Rahim Nabi could be a great asset in terms of experience for Kalyani Bharat FC, who have made a decent start in their first appearance in the Hero i-League, despite loosing their last encounter against the high-flying Royal Wahingdoh FC. A Tata Football Academy graduate, Nabi has played for all three big clubs in Bengal - East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting. With 61 International caps to his name, Nabi has won the AFC Challenge Cup (2008 edition), and three Nehru Cup title.
Stuart Watkiss believes, Nabi will add balance to the team."Nabi is a great player. He has the ability to play as a full-back and that is one area that we have struggled a little. He gives the side natural balance and I think he will be a great addition to this team,"said Stuart Watkiss, Bharat FC coach.
