Kalyani Bharat FC announced the marquee signing of Benin International, Romuald Boco for their debut campaign in Hero i-League 2014-15. Romuald Boco,29, is an attacking midfielder who last plied his trade for English League One side Chsterfield FC. Boco has been capped for Benin 48 times, which includes participating in various editions of African Cup of Nations.

Born in Bernay, France, Boco holds a dual citizenship of Frence and Benin. He started his career with French outfit Chamois Niortais before donning the Accrington Stanley FC kit where he spent three seasons. Irish Premier Division side Sligo Rovers was Boco's next destination followed by Burton Rovers. He then moved to China to represent Shanghai East Asia. His last stint was with English outfit Chesterfield FC, after he went back to Sligo Rovers before moving to Accrington Stanley and Plymouth Argyle.

Amit Kalyani, Managing Director of Bharat FC said,"Boco comes to us highly recommended. He is an excellent player and someone who has done well at every club that he has played for. He also has experience of playing in Asia and that will be helpful for him to acclimatize quicker to Indian conditions and the style of play."

Stuart Watkiss, the head coach of Bharat FC, made his comment on the new signing,"Boco is a very skillful player. His ball control and distribution are immaculate and his addition has come as a big boost to us. He can lend his weight to the attack and also ensure that we are always in the game with his precise passing."

About his coach, Boco said, "I have observed Stuart’s work at a number of English clubs. People back in England say only good things about his managerial approach and I am very excited to be working with him. I have played earlier in Asia and I hope to transfer that experience here and help the team achieve some good results."
