U19 i-League 2014-15: DSK Shivajians to face Mumbai FC at Cooperage

The iconic Cooperage Football Stadium will be hosting yet another exciting match of the Under 19 I-League which will see Pune’s DSK Shivajians face Mumbai FC tomorrow, Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 5:15 pm.

This will be DSK Shivajians’ third match in the zonal round of the Under 19 I-League. DSK Shivajians began their campaign with a 6-0 victory over PIFA Sports at the DSK Dream City Football Field, which was followed by a hard-earned 1-3 victory away at Pune FC.

On the other hand, Mumbai FC will be looking for their first victory, with both of their matches ending in losses to Pune FC and Kenkre FC, respectively.

Dave Rogers, Head Coach, Liverpool International Football Academy – DSK Shivajians, said, “We take each game as it comes. That’s why the next game is always the most important one. Keeping that in mind, our players are focused and are ready for the next challenge. Despite unfavorable results in the opening matches, Mumbai FC are a strong side and we will need to be at the top of our game if we want to win at Cooperage. Having said that, we are not setting any targets for our players at the moment and we want them to learn along the way.”

A win for DSK Shivajians will establish their lead at the top of the Maharashtra Zone Under 19 I-League table.
