Bharat FC announce signing of Shanilal and Manjeet

New i-League entrants Bharat FC have announced their first Indian signings with Shanilal Meloly of Pune FC and Manjeet Singh of Churchill Brothers joining their squad. Manjeet Singh,28, has plied his trade in many top i-League clubs namely JCT, Mohun Bagan, Mahindra United, Salgaocar FC and most recently Churchill Brothers. 24 year old Shanilal, who hails from Kerala was a part of the Viva Kerala squad in the 2008-09 season, before joining the Red Lizards, Pune FC in 2011.  

Prasad Kapre, Head of Operations, Bharat FC said,"Manjeet has played in the NFL and the I-League for a long time. He has also been part of the national team and he definitely has the quality to perform at this level. Shahinlal is young and Bharat FC is committed to giving young talented players a chance to prove themselves."

"Manjeet’s got a great head on his shoulders. He is calm, thinks every pass through and has a great eye for goal. His movement and tenacity was what impressed me the most. Shahinlal is a good young ‘keeper. He commands his area well and is quite confident of his abilities," said the Head Coach of Bharat FC, Stuart Watkiss on the new signings.
