Delhi Dynamos FC announce their grassroots initiative


Delhi Dynamos FC organizeJunior Dynamos Inter-School Championship
Hero Indian Super League(ISL) side Delhi Dynamos have announced their grassroots development initiative for Delhi/NCR and Northern Region youngsters. Junior Dynamos Inter-School Championship, a 7-a side football tournament, for 3 different age groups(U-12, U-14 and U-17) will be played in 4 zones of Delhi/NCR.

The first leg of the championship is being played from 19th to 22nd August at Ajanta Public School, Gurgaon and Jaypee Sports Complex, Greater Noida. Following this, the DDA Sports Complex, Vasant Kunj and Ganga International School will host the event as North, South, West and Central Delhi youths will get a platform to showcase their skills. Junior Dynamos Inter-School Championship's Zonal rounds will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium training ground, as the teams will play out in a knock-out format.

Top 100 players of U-14 and U-17 age groups will be trained under the Junior Dynamos Coaches for a tenure of 2 months on full scholarship basis. These players will play in the Junior Dynamos Elite League which will be played at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium training ground during the ISL match days under the watchful eyes of the scouts. 

Top 30 players from U-14 age group will be futher trained for 6 months by Junior Dynamos Coaches under full scholarship. They would form the Delhi Dynamos Youth Team. These youth players will feature in different youth leagues across India and might very well get a shot at the U-17 World Cup team.
