Zohib Amiri signs for Dempo SC

Afghanistan International Zohib Amiri has signed for Dempo Sports Club. Amiri was a iconic figure for Mumbai FC with dominant performances for the Maharashtra based club during his spell at Mumbai FC.

Amiri, after signing for Dempo was quoted saying to TOI, "I am delighted to finally have signed for Dempo SC. I look forward to repaying the faith showed in me by Papas. My main focus will be to play well for the team, and have a successful season with Dempo."

FIFA licensed agent and Libero Sports partner Arvind Narayan, who represented Amiri in the transfer, said "Amiri is a young and powerful defender with a lot of quality. He's a quality addition to the Dempo team, who will best utilize his strengthand versatility to have a very good finish to the season."
