Pune FC's hopes of making a debut in Asian Champions League 2014 came to an abrupt end with a 0-3 home thrashing from the hands of Vietnamese champions T&T Hanoi FC played at the Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune on Wednesday.
The goals came from Sam Gallagher (52nd minute), Nguyen Van Quyet (71st) and Hector Vaghaun (83rd), all in the second half as they march into the next round of AFC Asian Champions League play-off while Pune FC now will challenge for AFC Cup 2014 from Group H.
