Shillong Lajong Football Club today officially launched their mobile app on Android and iOS platforms, thus becoming the first Football club in India to have a mobile app. The app is can be downloaded on iPad and Android tablets as well.
The mobile app will have all the latest Shillong Lajong info like first team, game previews & reviews, score updates, standings, youth team, pictures, videos and lots more.

Larsing Ming Sawyan, Managing Director of Shillong Lajong while launching the app said “The fans are an integral part of Shillong Lajong Football Club. Shillong Lajong mobile app is another step in the Club’s endeavour to stay connected to its fans. Mobiles have now become the primary source to browse and to consume information from the internet. It thus becomes essential that we present the fans the opportunity to update themselves with the latest happenings at the club through this app”
The mobile app has been developed by Delhi based technology company
VRDMOB.
Lajong despite become a relative new-comer to the India’s premier Football competition; ILeague have done remarkable well both on and off pitch.

They have recently added McDowells as their fourth sponsor for their ILeague. Aircel is the club’s main sponsor along with adidas & Kingfisher being the kit and associate sponsors respectively. Earlier this year Lajong tied up with Kyazoonga.com to become India’s first Football club to offer match tickets online.
