Manipur U-14 Team beat Maharashtra 3-1 in the Final to clinch the U-14 National Championship Football Tournament being held at Kalyani on Sunday (November 17, 2013).

N Dhruba Singh notched a hattrick either side of halftime to cancel out Maharashra’s MD Kamran’s opener in the first minute of the summit clash.

Manipur had been steamrolling opponents -- barring a couple of occasions which included a goalless draw against their eventual finalists in Group B of the Quarter Final League tie -- en route the Final and continued their good showing in spite of conceding in the opening exchanges of the title clash.
