Bengaluru FC 0-0 Sporting Clube de Goa
With this draw both teams have 15 points from nine matches. Bengaluru, who are yet to be beaten at home, retained their third spot in the points table, while the Goan outfit are fourth after this match.

The hosts got their first opportunity through a counter attack. Australian striker Sean Rooney ran through the right flank, but his left footer was saved by Sporting goalkeeper Ravi Kumar.
Bengaluru FC came back into the game though some good moves from the left flank. In the 27th minute, Beikhokhei Beingaichho shot went over the post. Just six minutes before the half time, Bengaluru FC’s goalkeeper Pawan Kumar made a great save to deny Sporting’s Jovel Martin from scoring the opener.
After the break, both teams tried their best to break the deadlock. Though both Bengaluru FC and Sporting created chances, but their strikers from failed to get the final touch,
In the 69th minute, Ravi Kumar made another brilliant save to deny the hosts the lead. Beingaichho gave a perfect cross from right flank, but before Thoi Singh could head it in, Ravi dived to punch out the ball. In the 77th minute, Thoi Singh entered the box from the left flank, but once again failed to put the ball past Ravi.
In the very next minute, Sporting were lucky not to concede an own goal. Thoi Singh crossed the ball into the box from the left flank. Sporting captain Mathew Gonsalves headed the ball towards his own goal, but he was lucky as the ball hit the post and bounced back from the goal line.
It was the closest; either of the teams came to scoring as both teams had to be satisfied with one point each from this match. Sporting Clube de Goa’s Gonzalo Neila was adjudged the Man of the Match.
