East Bengal come into the frey with the goan club scoring their first goal in a

| Team Goals breakup for Airtel i-League 2013-14 |
Among the 49 goals scored by each team, we would now
break it up in between foreigners and Indians for each team. It is interesting
to note that Mumbai FC are the only team to have both Indians and Foreign goal
scorers and Indians outnumber Foreigners in terms of goal scoring numerically .
Rangdajied United FC and Churchill Brothers SC are the only two teams to have
no foreigners in their goal scorers list while Mohammedan Sporting are the only
team to have only Forgeign goal scorers on their name.

If the same data is put into a graph and it would take
the below shape:
![]() |
| Airtel i-League 2013-14, goals by foreigners vs Indians for each club |
Now we would look up to the goals scored and goals
conceded per match for each team and the below graph shows exactly the same. East
Bengal’s single match having four goals means they average 4.0 goals per game
but considering that data would not be logical, which means Bengaluru FC’s 1.8
Goals per game is the highest among the i-League clubs in terms of goal scoring
while Churchill Brothers SC have the lowest goals per game with a mere 0.3
rate. On the flip side, Mohammedan Sporting have conceded 2.7 goals per game
while Rangdajied United being the only other side crossing the 2.0 goals per
game mark in terms of goals conceded per game.
Pune FC and Salgaocar FC have the meanest defence conceding 0.3 goals
per game(excluding Kingfisher East Bengal’s 0.0 goals conceded per game rate
which is only because of their single game played till now).

It is interesting to note that if we break up the 90
minutes into 6 quarters (15 mminutes each) 75-90 Minutes have seen the maximum
number of goals i.e. 12 goals, closely followed up by 45-60 minute quarter
producing 11 goals while the first 15 minutes have been the least productive
having only 4 goals to it.
We will quickly move towards the goal scorers list for
Airtel i-League 2013-14 till round 4 (10th Octber 2013). Jeje
Lalpekhlua is the only Indian goal scorer having scored more than two goals.
