East Bengal have reached the Semi Finals of AFC Cup 2013 after defeating Semen Padang on aggregate (East Bengal 2-1 Semen Padang) thanks to their one goal lead in the first leg. Edward Wilson scored the first goal of the match for the Indonesian champions while South Sudan International James Moga equalized for Red and Golds late in the second half to secure the victory for East Bengal and thus become the second Indian team to reach that feat after Dempo SC's success in the AFC Cup 2008 when they also reached the semi finals of the prestigious continental cup.
