i-League Transfers: Churchill Brothers SC sign Portuguese duo Amoreirinha and Hugo Machado

Churchill Brothers SC have made two marquee signings after roping in two portuguese Hugo Machado and Euripedes Amoreirinha.

Hugo Machado, right footed, Central Midfielder is a product of youth academy of Sporting Lisbon playing alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Quaresma. Hugo Machado has played for several clubs which includes CF Estrela Amadora(Portugal), FC Barreirense(Portugal), Apollon Limassol(Cyprus), Olympiakos Nicosia(Cyprus), Alki Larnaca(Cyprus), Standard Sumqayit(Azerbaijan), Naval 1º de Maio(Portugal), Zob Ahan Esfahan(Iran), Sanat Naft FC(Iran). Hugo last played for Sanat Naft FC who plays in Iranian Pro League.

Euripedes Amoreirinha,

Sport Lisboa e Benfica's youth system product,Euripedes Amoreirinha made 8 appearances for Benfica while being loaned out for most of his time in the Portuguese club. CFR Cluj roped in the services of Amoreirinha for a reported fee of 880.000 £ before being again loaned out to UTA Arad who played in the same Romanian League. He came back to Portugal playing for Académica Coimbra before moving to  Vitória Setúbal FC which plays at the topmost division of Portuguese football tier - Primeira Liga. Having made 108 appearances in the Primeira Liga, 2012-13 Season saw Amoreirinha make 8 appearances in Primeira Liga for Vitória Setúbal FC. Amoreirinha has also represented Portugal at various junior levels.

Churchill Brothers have retained Gabon International Henri Antchouet. They meanwhile still have a foreign quota(Asian) left.
