East Bengal to take on Semen Padang of Indonesia in the AFC Cup 2013 Quarter Finals

Kingfisher East Bengal of India would face Indonesian side Semen Padang in the quarter finals of the AFC Cup 2013. The match was locked after the recently concluded AFC Cup 2013 draw at Kuala Lampur today. While East Bengal convincingly made it to the quarter finals defeating Yangon United(Myanmar) 5-1 on aggregate, Semen Padang got 2-1 victory (on aggregate) against Shb Da Nang FC(Vietnam) in the pre-quarter finals. The Red and Gold brigade would be able to get some idea of the Indonesian side's strategies as they(Semen Padang) was up against i-League Champions Churchill Brothers in the group stages of the tournament as both were clubbed in the same group (E). The Home match is scheduled to take place on September 17th while the away match is on 24th September.
