Rangdajied United qualifies for i-League 2013-14

Rangdajied United qualifies for i-League

Another North Eastern club now enters the i-League, Rangdajied United have qualified for the next edition of i-League 2013-14 after a thumping victory over the favorites Mohammedan Sporting 3-1 today in their final league encounter today. Randajied United thus finish the Final Phase of Second division on top with 19 points followed by Mohammedan Sporting (18 Points). The match between Bhawanipore SC and Mumbai Tigers now does not hold any significance in context to the qualification as Rangdajied United and Mohammedan Sporting have already secured both the qualification slots. Bhawanipore SC can at most reach 17 points if they win against Mumbai Tigers.

Indian Football - The Blog (now ABCDfootball) congratulates Rangdajied United for their successful triumph in the Second Division and welcomes them alongside Mohammedan Sporting to the i-League.
