Rowilson Rodrigues replaces injured Sandesh Jhingan

United Sikkim FC's young defender Sandesh Jhingan who had impressed everyone with his rock solid defensive techniques in the i-League for the North Eastern side and perhaps one of the only few bright sides of the North Eastern club has picked up a groin injury during the ongoing Indian National Team's preparatory camp at Pune for the upcoming AFC Challenge Cup 2014 qualifiers. Dempo SC defender Rowilson Rodrigues has been named as the replacement for Sandesh. Rowilson joined the camp on 23rd February.

India are scheduled to start their AFC Challenge Cup 2014(Qualifiers) campaign against Chinese Taipei on 2nd March followed by matches against Guam(4th March) and Mayanmar(6th March).
