Dempo SC might be renamed

Dempo SC after sealing the i-League 2011-12 title under their cabinet for record five times, are seriously considering to change their club name to a city based one to attract more fans. It might happen that the clubs shares will be available for the supporters to purchase and which in turn will fetch the club more revenue. It is a commonly used concept in Europe where people can buy shares of a football club.

Making a city based name will attach more hearts to the club and thus will increase the fan base which has been surprisingly very low for the i-League champions despite being one of the most successful clubs in the country.
