Varin Mehta, a young lad from Mumbai saw his dream cpme true when was signed by Belgium Second Division side Royal Antwerp FC for a season long contract after sweating in the trials for more than a year. The youngster donned the Mahindra United U-19 jersey before the club was disbanded. It was through his father contracts that he managed to get a trial at the Belgium based club which has got huge fan following in Belgium and also is a sister club to English Premier League side Manchester United. RIL(Reliance Industries Ltd.) came up as the sponsor for Varin which made his signing possible and thereby making his dream come true. Though Varin Mehta has never been capped at the Junior level for India, he wishes to wear the Blue jersey after making his mark in the European circuit.
