Blackburn Rovers will play Pune FC on 7th October at the Shiv Chhatrapati Stadium, Pune. The tie will be first of its kind as it will be the first time that an i-League club will be going head to head against a Premier League club. It is also the first time that an EPL side is visiting India.

Venky owned Blackburn Rovers were earlier scheduled to visit Pune on 22nd July but due to terror attacks on Mumbai, they decided to cancel their trip. The EPL side however kept their promise of coming back.
