Churchill Brothers have acquired the services of Portuguese coach Manuel Gomes(nicknamed 'Neca' or 'Professir Beca'). Manuel Gomes has a handful of experience in coaching. He had worked with SL Benfica, G.D. Estoril Praia in Portugal. Manuel Gomes has experience coaching in Asia too when he was the coach of the Maldives national team. Professor Neka was also a part of the Portuguese coaching staff in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The UEFA Pro License holder was earlier linked with East Bengal in the previous season, backing out at the last moment, which saw Trevor Morgan became the coach of the Red and Golds.
