AIFF has announced the venues and groups of this years Second Division i-league. 21 teams will participate in a bid to claim the two spots at the premiere division of the country that is the i-League. The event will be organized in three venues: Madurai (Tamilnadu), Ranchi (Jharkhand) & Guwahati (Assam).
The teams have been divided in three groups comprising of 7 teams each with top two teams from each group going through to the final round where they will join the relegated teams of last year's i-league- Sporting Culbe De Goa and Shillong Lajong FC. The final round will be held in Shillong, Meghalaya where the top two will qualify for next years i-League.

Techno Aryan (West Bengal), Vasco SC(Goa), Chandni FC (Kerala), Royal Wahingdoh (Meghalaya), Eagles FC (Kerala), PIFA Colaba Youngster (Maharashtra) & BEML (Karnataka)
Venue: Ranchi (Jharkhand)
Mohammedan Sporting (West Bengal), Denzong Boys (Sikkim), Josco FC (Kerala), Kenkre FC (Maharashtra), Sesa (Goa), Malabar United (Kerala) & Ar-Hima FC (Meghalaya)
Venue: Guwahati (Assam)
NISA (Manipur), United Sikkim (Sikkim), Lansing FC (Meghalaya), Gauhati Town Club (Assam) Southern Samity (West Bengal), Golden Threads (Kerala) & Simla Youngs (Delhi)
