Olympic Qualifiers:Myanmar vs India away leg tomorrow


The Indian team for the Pre-Olympic Qualifiers will play the return leg against Myanmar at the Youth Training Centre, Yangoon. India will be hoping to hold on to the crucial one goal advantage over the hosts which they(India) took in the home leg at Pune. Nirmal Chhetri and N.Mohanraj will have to sit out in the match because of injury woes.

The Indian squad shapes up like this:

Goalkeepers: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Jagroop Singh

Defenders: Abhishek Das, Raju Gaekwad (Captain), Lalrozama Fenai, Deepak Devrani, Vishal Kumar, Inderpreet Singh

Midfielders: Lalrindika Ralte, Jewel Raja Sheikh, Shilton D’Silva, Jibon Singh, Ongram Milan Singh, Subodh Kumar

Strikers: Jeje Lalpekhlua, Malswamfela, Robin Singh, C.S. Sabeeth

Coach Desmond Bulpin is keen on using the long ball tactics which helped his side beat the Myanmar team 2-1 in the home leg at Pune. The team has also worked hard in set-pieces and thus will be looking to convert them into goals in tomorrows crucial match.

Meanwhile FIFA President Sepp Blatter is also expected to attend the match who will arrive there on Wednesday.
