Transfer Zone: Chhetri signed by Chirag

Indian star striker Sunil Chhetri has signed for Chirag United for the rest of the season. Chirag United somehow managed to get the ITC(International Transfer Certificate) within the deadline on Thursday evening.

Chhetri was released by Sporting KC a few weeks back and Chirag showed interest in Chhetri's services. Chirag TD(Technical Director) Subrata Bhattacharya is learned to have played a major role in Chhetri's signing as Chhetri worked under him while he was in Mohun Bagan.
