East Bengal has finally released their two players, Robin Singh and Niramal Chhetri, who had been selected for the Pre-Olympic Qualifiers and were asked to join the rest of the team for a 6 day camp at Pune starting on 17th February. The Red and Golds officials however made it clear that they have released the players only for the first match against Myanmar scheduled to be held on 23rd February at Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune. The return leg which is to be held on 9th March in Myanmar, might not feature Robin and Nirmal as they will be needed for their clubs match against JCT on the same date.
