Subrata Paul attracting foreign interest

Despite loosing all three matches in the AFC Asia Cup 2011 India managed to win some respect. For India, one of the standout performers was easily their goalkeeper Subrata Paul.

Subrata Paul made uncountable number of saves in the three matches that India played against the much higher ranked opponents. He received praise from all around. The Australian and South Korean media pointed out Paul's performance as delightful.

With Asia Cup being such a huge tournament, scouts from all over the world are bound to be there and Subrata's performance didn't went unnoticed. Scouts from several European famous clubs which includes Olympique Lyon(France), Tottenham Hotspur(England) and Blackburn Rovers(England) reported back positively about Subrata's performance to their respective clubs.

It is possible that Subrata might get call up for trials by one of these clubs or some other clubs. His deserves to be at some good club after his array of outstanding performances.
