The speculations regarding A-League club Perth Glory's interest in Sunil Chhetri was confirmed after the club's director Dave Mitchell told "We are interested in Chhetri. He is a good player and I believe he will do well in a good team". He also added "against Australia, it was very difficult for him to get on the ball. He has some nice touches". The former Australian International also spoke with Indian Coach Bob Houghton regarding Chhetri and Bob replied positively about his striker. Regarding Chhetri's singning to Perth Glory, one problem might arise that Football Federation of Australia(FFA) might cut down the number of foreigners quota from five to four which might hamper Chhetri's chances of making the cut.
