Asia Cup kicks off tomorrow

The much awaited AFC Asia Cup kicks-off tomorrow with 16 teams from Asia(including Australia) will fight it out for the prestigious trophy. It will be some treat for spectators all over the globe when several world class players will be seen in action. The tournament features some really big names and some not so big names but the desire and want will undoubtedly be sky high. The climate will be no less than electrifying and it will be a spectacle to watch for every football fan. If for some teams winning will be the goal, some teams who are playing the tournament is no less than an achievement already. Excitement is guaranteed!!

It will be a joy to watch different brands of football presented together in a huge tournament like this. A dream come true for the players participating and for the fans watching their stars play. Stakes will be high and the bars will be raised will powerhouses like Australia, South Korea, Japan, Iran will be taking the field.

The tournament will showcase some of the big names in the game:
Tim Cahill-Forward (Australia,Everton,EPL)

Mark Schwarzer-Goalkeeper(Australia, Fulham, EPL)

Keisuke Honda-Midfielder(Japan, CSKA Moscow, Russian Premier League)

Park Ji Sung-Midfielder (South Korea, Manchester United, EPL)

and many more.....

For these players this tournament will be a tournament to add to their kitty whereas there are some players this tournament will be like living their dream. Yes I am referring to team India who will play the tournament after a gap of 26 years. Each and every player know very well that this is a opportunity of lifetime.

"11 PLAYERS, A BILLION HEARTBEATS"

Thats what is the slogan and that say it all. A cricket crazy nation will once again go into the shell of the past in the days of Mohammed Salim, Chuni Goswami, P.K.Banerjee and IM Vijayanwhere football used to be the game to watch in the Worlds 2nd most populated nation.

Leading the team will be the legendary Captain, the Sikkimese Sniper,
Baichung Bhutia-Forward(India, East Bengal, i-League)

Sunil Chhetri-Forward(India, Kansas City Wizards, MLS)

Subrata Paul-Goalkeeper(India, Pune FC, i-League)

Steven Dias-Winger(India, Churchill Brothers, i-League)

India's preparation for the tournament has not been really smooth in any respect learning some hard lessons in the path but the good thing is that their moral is high. India will be going without any fear of loosing and that sometimes pays off. Let's cheer up for the players who have tirelessly been preparing for the tournament for quite a few time.

what we want is Full commitment, thats more than enough.

Despite being grouped with teams like Australia, South Korea and Bahrain, Indian players are really up for it and that what matters at the end of the day.

The tournament will kick off tomorrow with the hosts Qatar going head to head against Uzbekistan at the Khalifa stadium in the Group A encounter. All matches will be broadcasted live and exclusive on ESPN & STARSPORTS.
