AFC Asia Cup 2011: India to take on South Korea

After a spirited performance against the Aussies and Bahrain side, India are all set to face the toughest challenge in the AFC Asia Cup 2011 when they face the South Korea side. The Korean team is one of the fastest and physically stronger team in the tournament and they are one of the major title contenders.

Ranked at 105 places above the Indian team, South Korean team will be expecting a walk in the park but they would like to avoid any complacency. They(Koreans) would not like to repeat their performance when they took on Bahrain and Australia and would surely be in an attacking frame of mind against an Indian defence which has been falling apart throughout the whole tournament at important stages. Bob will like to finish his campaign in a good note as they did put up a fight against the Australian and Bahrainian side.

Many Korean fans are expecting a record score against the Indian side and India will try to prove it wrong and would again try to put up a strong side. The Korean side is lead by the Manchester United midfielder Park Ji Sung who is a real threat to any opposition with his swiftness and skill. Ja-Cheol Koo has also been very impressive in this tournament with his goal scoring abilities.

For India, Subrata Paul, Gourmangi Singh and Sunil Chhetri will have to play out of their skin to make something out of this game.

As it has been declared earlier Sikkemese Sniper Baichung Bhutia will play some part against South Korean side. His involvement will be instrumental as it will boost the moral of the team and his experience is very valuable for the team.
