Indian women's team thrash Bhutan 18-0



Indian women's team started their SAFF Women's Championship on a blazing note defeating the Bhutan National Women's side a whopping 18-0. 10 goals were scored in the first half and the rest 8 were scored in the second.

Sasmita Mallick scored seven goals, while Bala Devi scored five goals. Tababi Devi bagged four goals, while Pinky and Amoolya too registered their name in the scoresheet scoring one goal each.

India, who are clubbed with Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the hosts Bangladesh in Group A will take on Sri Lanka in their second group league match on December 15, while they will play their final league match against Bangladesh on December 17.
