First Win for AIFF Young-Guns

After a series of humiliating defeats AIFF XI came up with a gutsy performance to outwit the Airmens team 2-1 in an exciting round 5 tie.

The young team of AIFF XI always showed promise during their debut matches in the i-league but were never really seen dominating in any match. The team was more often found guilty of not performing as a unit in most of the matches. Though the team managed to hold the newcomers ONGC, the thrashing that they got in the hands of East Bengal and Salgaocar never really boosted their moral. This win might be the one thing that Bulpin's boys required. Let's see what the high profile English coach can do with this talented bunch of youngsters. Let's hope that these boys keep performing well at the highest level.
