PDFA to host camp for Indian football team


The Pune District Football Association will host a preparatory training Camp for the Indian Football team in the city from September 25.

According to a press release issued by the secretary of the PDFA Pradeep Pardeshi, the national team will arrive in the city on Friday evening, after which they will proceed to the venue.

The camp will be held at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Educational Complex Ground, Dhankawadi, from September 25. The camp has been organised in order to gear the Indian National Football Team up for the three international friendly matches, which they will be playing in the month of October, against Hong Kong, Vietnam and Yemen respectively at Balewadi Sports Complex, the release said.

The following players have been named in the squad for the friendlies which will be held next month:
