East Bengal reaches Fed Cup Finals

A 10th minute strike from Australian Tolgay Ozbey proved to be the turning point in the match against Churchill Brothers. The game was played in an attacking mode throughout the first half and Tolgay could have made it 2-0 if he has not missed a penalty. The second half proved to be very boring in terms of quality.

East Bengal thus reaches the second successive finals of the Fed Cup and they will meet either Mohun Bagan or Dempo whoever goes through.
