Winning start for India in Portugal Tour

India started off their Portugal campaign in a winning note after thrashing Caldas SC 4-1.

4 of the total 5 goals were scored in the first half itself.
Everything didnt started all well for India as Subrata Paul pulled off a blinder from a good freekick from the portguese third tier team.Abhishek Yadav started the scoring for India as early as in 7th minute on the clock when he headed a inch perfect cross from winger Steven Dias. Star winger Steven Dias doubled the lead wth 16 min. on the clock after he cleverly lobbed the keeper. N.P.Pradeep came up with a real screamer of a shot from near about 30 yards to make the scoreline 3-0 in the 38th min., but the portugese team pulled one back just after a minute. Bob Houghton made as many as 9 changes after the first half. Baldeep Singh made the scoreline a resounding 4-1 on 70th minute.

India next face another Portuguese 2nd division team Monosanto on Friday.
