India started off their Portugal campaign in a winning note after thrashing Caldas SC 4-1.

N.P.Pradeep came up with a real screamer of a shot from near about 30 yards to make the scoreline 3-0 in the 38th min., but the portugese team pulled one back just after a minute. India next face another Portuguese 2nd division team Monosanto on Friday.
